Why AIS

A practice, not a template.

The firm is twelve years old. The work is older: Olumide Bewaji and Co was founded in 1994. The promise is not originality — it is that the accounts, the tax computations and the audit file will be current, defensible, and on time.

  • Federal and state tax, not a generic ‘compliance’ slide
  • IFRS 18, IFRS S1 and S2 implementation
  • Digital ledgers with analytics sitting on top of them
  • A named partner on the engagement, not a rotating inbox

About the firm How we work

Insights

Nigeria’s tax system changed on 1 January 2026.

NRS replaced FIRS. Company tax is 30% plus a 4% Development Levy for firms that are not small companies. Professional services are out of the 0% CIT rate. A briefing for boards — not a substitute for the file.

Clients

What they say about the work

Titles as given. We do not publish a client list.

  • “They found the improvement in our financial management that we would have missed. The work was specific, the advice was usable, and we now have a close we can stand behind.”

    George DanielsChief Financial Officer
  • “From the audit file to the advice afterwards, they were exacting without being theatrical. We tightened the process, cut cost we could not see, and stopped guessing.”

    John AdagbeFinance Specialist
  • “The engagement was scoped properly and delivered without drama. We have a cleaner foundation for the next few years of reporting, which is what we hired them for.”

    David UmorenChief Accountant
  • “This is how technology should sit under compliance and tax — as insight, not another system to feed. A serious, useful piece of work.”
