AIS Professional Services (“we”), Rivers House Building II, 83 Ralph Shodeinde Street, Central Business District, Abuja 900103, is the data controller for information sent to us through this website. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission’s rules.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send through the contact form, the request for proposal form, the job application form, email, telephone or WhatsApp: typically your name, role, contact details, and the substance of the enquiry — for a proposal request, also details of the organisation, the services required, the timetable and any budget indication you give. For a job application, also your education, professional qualifications and NYSC status, work history, referee details, expected pay, and the CV, cover letter and certificates you upload. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To reply, to scope an engagement, to assess job applications, and to keep a record of the conversation. The lawful basis is that we need the details to respond to a request you have made; for job applications it is also your consent, given on the form, and the steps needed before a possible contract of employment. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list from this website.
How the forms reach us
Messages, proposal requests and job applications sent through this website, including any files you upload, are emailed to our Managing Partner’s mailbox, olumide.bewaji@aisrd.co.uk. They are delivered either directly by the server that hosts this website, which keeps a backup copy outside the public website for 12 months, or through FormSubmit (United States), an email form service that acts as our processor.
Services outside Nigeria
Some of the tools behind this site are run by companies outside Nigeria, so parts of your information may be processed abroad:
- Google Fonts — the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address. No cookies are set.
- Google Maps — the maps on the contact and office pages are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies when a map is displayed.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that channel.
Where information leaves Nigeria we rely on the transfer grounds allowed by Part VIII of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, including that the transfer is needed to respond to the request you made.
How long we keep it
If no engagement follows, we keep enquiry messages for up to two years and then delete them. We keep job applications for 12 months and then delete them; if you join AIS, your application becomes part of your staff file. If we enter a professional engagement, the letter of engagement sets out how client files, working papers and personal data are held for that work.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to services@aisrd.co.uk or calling 0704 422 2422 or 0906 555 9555. We reply within one working day and complete requests within the time the Act allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
